One of my favorite UK phrases is “sorted.” My MIL says it when she’s finished a task and I just love it. When I first heard it (as an American not used to the phrase), I couldn’t think of anything but my grandmother’s button jars and meticulously “playing” by sorting them. I used to joke my grandmother’s hobby was sorting because anytime you called, she’d say “I spent the day sorting.”
Now as a mom/wife/homeowner/tidy-enthusiast, I’m pretty positive sorting is MY thing and “sorted” is my goal. Whether it’s organizing or accomplishing a task, it’s what I’ve learned sparks joy for me.
Organizing has grown to be more than a pastime for me and provided a mental refuge during the pandemic. Now it’s my goal to give others spaces they love. It makes me so happy to see the joy on someone’s face when they feel in control of their home again.
So if you want to chat about organizing or need a whole house overhaul, I’m here to help.
Goodbye, stress. Hello, Sorted.
